Ark also sold about the same amount, worth $15.8 million, of the ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF (BITO), the first ETF tracking the Bitcoin futures market to be listed in the United States.

The company sold its GBTC holdings in December, prior to converting the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) into a Bitcoin ETF. GBTC was swapped into BITO in anticipation of a Bitcoin spot ETF being approved in the US, and Cathie Wood said that a fund that has already been approved is safer than a fund that is waiting for approval. ing.
