The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has filed a complaint against ex-CEO of Voyager Digital, Stephen Ehrlich, for fraud and registration failures in relation to the operation of an unregistered commodity pool. Ehrlich and Voyager allegedly misled customers by falsely advertising the platform as a “safe haven” for earning high-yield returns. In reality, they took reckless risks with customers’ assets, leading to the firm’s bankruptcy and customer losses.
