Binance to abolish all leveraged tokens
All leveraged tokens will be abolished
Binance, an international virtual currency exchange, announced on the 19th that it plans to abolish all leveraged tokens (BLVT).
From 15:00 on February 28th Japan time, we will stop providing all leveraged token currency pairs: BNBUP/USDT, BNBDOWN/USDT, ETHUP/USDT, ETHDOWN/USDT, BTCUP/USDT, and BTCDOWN/USDT.
Additionally, technical support for these tokens will end at 3:00 p.m. on April 3rd.
Each leveraged token represented a position in a basket-shaped Binance perpetual trading contract and was designed for short-term trading.
