Coinbase to start virtual currency spot trading for institutional investors on offshore exchange
Focus on overseas expansion
Coinbase, a major US cryptocurrency exchange, announced on the 13th that it will also offer spot trading on its international version of the exchange, Coinbase International Exchange. It was originally launched as an exchange focused on derivatives.
Starting next Tuesday, we will first offer Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) USDC pair trading to institutional investors. It is expected to open to individual investors in the coming months.
Coinbase International Exchange has recently actively added altcoin perpetual futures trading. Last week, we added perpetual futures trading for Optimism (OP), Arbitrum (ARB), and Ethereum Classic (ETC), as well as Bitcoin and Ethereum, Solana (SOL), Avalanche (AVAX), ADA, LINK, DOGE, and XLM perpetual futures trading. We are currently providing it.
