The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 13.26 points, or 0.04%, to 36,786.39; the S&P 500 lost 2.9 points, or 0.06%, to 4,790.64; and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 45.86 points, or 0.29%, to 15,576.86.
