Average acquisition price of $28,016
US business intelligence firm MicroStrategy announced on the 5th that it had purchased $29.3 million worth of cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC).

The company purchased 1,045 BTC in this operation. Additional purchases were completed at an average acquisition price of $28,016. This increased the company’s holdings of bitcoins to 140,000 and pushed the overall average acquisition cost down to $29,803 from the previous $29,817 (March 27).
The last time the buyback was announced was in March, when the company used $150 million in funds to buy 6,455 BTC.

He also said that $4.17 billion has been spent on bitcoin purchases so far.
