Tokyo stocks open lower amid continued fears of coronavirus spread


Tokyo stocks opened lower Monday on continued fears about the spread of the coronavirus in the United States and some other parts of the world.In the first 15 minutes of trading, the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average shed 78.82 points, or 0.35 percent, from Friday to 22,399.97.
