U.S. stocks surge on Biden’s Super Tuesday comeback


U.S. stocks made a sharp rebound Wednesday with the Dow rising over 1,100 points as investors were apparently relieved to see former Vice President Joe Biden rallying back toward frontrunner status in the Democratic primaries.The 30-issue Dow Jones Industrial Average soared 1,173.45 points, or 4.53 percent, to end at 27,090.86.
