With Taotao, Yahoo Japan enters the world of Crypto currency exchange

According to the latest report, Yahoo Japan’s trading platform Taotao is all set to offer the trading of Bitcoin and Ethereum, meanwhile also enabling the users to do margin trading in Bitcoin Cash, Ripple and Litecoin.

The Japanese internet company Yahoo! Japan Corporation was formed as a result of a joint venture between the American internet company Yahoo! and the Japanese company SoftBank. Initially, the Japanese exchange was known as Bitarg but was renamed as Taotao after the trading platform was acquired by Yahoo Japan in last February.

Back in 2018, Yahoo Japan Corporation revealed that they had intended to launch a digital currency exchange that would be licensed by the Financial Services Agency (FSA) of Japan. On 30th May 2019, President of Taotao Shinichiro Arakawa launched Taotao, and as part of the campaign: thirty days of zero fees for the traders will be given in the initial period. Taotao trading platform is among the nineteen digital currency exchanges of Japan that are approved by FSA.

It is worth noting that the Taotao trading platform will have to make its place in an already established cryptocurrency market. Various cryptocurrency exchanges like Bitflyex, one of the world’s major crypto asset exchange by volume, Fisco Cryptocurrency exchange, Fisco Digital Asset Group, Huobi Japan and other exchanges are all making their presence felt in the rising crypto-world in the rising land of the sun.
