Bitfi is a global payments technology company which works on boosting the digital asset economy. On 19th June, the Bitfi team announced their all new hardware wallet, which they claim to be the first unhackable and open source hardware wallet.

Bitfi supports various cryptocurrencies including Monero [XMR], which had no hardware wallet solution till date.

The Bitfi Wallet will receive all the latest software updates automatically once it has been setup, through which the device will be protected from all the phishing attacks. The wallet lets its users access a secret phrase which auto calculates private keys. Hence, it is not required to store the keys explicitly on any hardware or software device.

John McAfee says:

“Of all today’s elaborate and sophisticated methods for making wallets secure and easy to use, surely none is as epic as that of the new Bitfi wallet.”

He continued to say that:

Several of my competitors have pioneered innovative methods to protect private keys, but Bitfi pulled out all the stops to ensure that the private key can never be obtained by illicit means. No other hardware wallet has ever been built to this level of sophistication,”

The social media world welcomed the pre-launch announcement of the hardware wallet with various opinions.

A cryptocurrency enthusiast name Becky says:

@officialmcafee Jesus. You are truly unstoppable. I have looked into this wallet in depth. It looks outstanding. I have never owned a hardware wallet, I will now.”

Matt Guarino, a cryptocurrency miner says:

@officialmcafee The FBI said the Iphone was unhackable too.  Then $10 million dollars later a key to 1 billion devices appeared and they tossed a Master Ball at it.  I dont doubt you, but there are actual Russians out there in the world who know how to computer.”

A Twitterati named Finner commented:

@officialmcafee John, your dedication is both amazing and commendable.  Thanks for teaching and sharing. Now get some fucking rest dude!!”

Jasm, A Digital Asset Proponent says:

@officialmcafee For sure I will get one. seems to be much better than the ones so far in the market.”

Bitfi Wallet will be available for purchase at $120 from 25th June 2018. This also includes a one-year warranty.
