In his latest tweet, crypto-astrologer John McAfee has announced the upcoming launch of Docademic’s first app in English this month. He has also stated the launch of company’s US operations starting July 1st and an additional app for emergency psychological services will be set up by July 23rd.
Docademic is a technology company that is making efforts to tokenize their currently under-development healthcare platform, through their token Medical Token Currency [MTC]. It pushes forth the wider use-case of blockchain and wants to encourage more and more people to interchange their data in return for the MTC token; which can then be used to buy healthcare goods and services.
Time and again, McAfee’s predictions on the price of MTC going up have proved to be concrete.
MTC can be traded on TopBtc, HitBTC, Exrates, Idex, QBTC, Systemkoin, Stock Exchange, Free Wallet, and so on.
In the past one months, MTC has hit the lowest of $0.06 with a market cap of over $12 million, whereas MTC price reached its estimated peak of $0.43 last week with a market capitalization of close to $124 million. At the time of writing, MTC is trading at $0.30 with a market cap of over $88 million and a 24-hour volume of around $1 million.
M Ralph, a McAfee follower said:
“I’m in California. I downloaded the app and talked to a Dr. in Mexico City. She knew her trade. It is functional now. I see it as a solution for the health care crisis. What exchange would you recommend to purchase such an exciting currency?”
Another interested Twitter user, Austin Band inquires:
“Hey John, can you explain the incentives doctors have when becoming a part of docademic?”
